When you listen to Part 2 of Podcast 5, do you feel there is a connection between Marissa and Mark? Isn't it interesting how Mark was never sexually abused, yet he seems to understand ... connect with women who have?

Marissa's journey to healing in her own heart, mind, and soul is very similar to Mark's. Do you feel / sense that Norman has a lot of wisdom / insights into this, but maybe don't have any personal experience? If that is true ... how in the world is it possible that someone who hasn't had the experiences that Mark or Marissa have had ... yet he connects, is able to relate, and has the wisdom he does?
Often when we have hurt, pain, trauma in our lives it's easy to think that "They can't possibly understand and/or have any input which will help me." ... which actually isn't true. What's strange is that sometimes people who haven't ever experienced something, can have the strangest ability to have wisdom / understanding of a situation that those who have gone through it don't have?

Mark's one strange dude, without question. World leaders who have met Mark have said they have never met anyone like Mark. This is not good or bad ... it just is. Due to what Mark's creator shared with him when he was 8 years old Mark deeply understand that he really is "Average or below average."
