We're not saying do you SAY you are humble but do you DO humble?  One guy we know actually uses this video in his system to keep himself humble.  Interesting!

  • Why is Manage Up & Out so powerful? ~ We often watch something ... and actually think it's really good ... but then do not internalize it.  We do not think deeply about how what we learned could change our lives forever.   We do not TAKE ACTION on what we learned!  
  • What is Manage Up & Out? ~ After every video, white paper or mastermind call we encourage members to share with at least two others, three specific things.

  • 2. What ACTION will I take.

  • What is an ARRT Mentor and two ARRT Buddies? ~ ARRT "Atomic Ripple Reaction Tree / Team" is designed to take what we have learned and share it with the world.  Each individual is assigned one ARRT Mentor and 2 ARRT Buddies.  

How Humble Are We?

Most of us think we are pretty humble ... but are we really?

Are people who aren't humble, lazy?  Do they just want to believe what they think is true and don't want to be around anyone who will challenge their way of thinking?  Why won't people study the Quantum Thinking model?  Is it because the aren't humble?  Is it because they don't how to think at a quantum level about OWNERSHIP ~ WORK ~ CARE?

Flawless Thinking Model
This model helps us to SEE ... well a lot!   This model helps us to THINK ... well a lot!  Flawless Thinking is NOT the "perfect model" it's less flawed.  We learn to be CURIOUS & QUESTION, first and foremost how we SEE the word and THINK about what we think we see.  Hmmm ... maybe that's the true humility?
Are people who aren't humble, sloppy and stupid?  Often people who think they are humble, act humble and maybe a lot of people around them think they are humble ... often don't like works like sloppy and stupid.  Why?  Hmmm ... maybe it's because they are lazy? :-)  People who aren't humble will tend to laugh at others and are quick to see flaws / splinters in the eyes of others, but won't see the planks in their own eyes?   OWNERSHIP ~ WORK ~ CARE?

We may not be as humble as we think if ...

  • 1. We Use The Word "Humble" ~ Meaning ... we SAY we are humble.  When people use WORDS to explain how they are, it's a great "giveaway" that what people SAY and DO or ARE, may be very different.  We use our words vs. actions ... we are lazy ... we don't WORK hard.  
  • 2. We Get Defensive ... About ... Well ... Anything ~ ... AND / OR any of the other 9 D's.  ~ click here for 9 D's ~ We don't take OWNERSHIP for our own choices or the groups we belong to.
  • 3. We Get Offended ~ People who get offended, especially as it relates to a "group" of people they connect with.  When someone says something about us or a group of people we are connected to, we take the personally.   We lack CURIOSITY.   
  • 4. We Disagree ~  Did you disagree with any of the above?  :-)  Have you ever thought about what disagreeing with someone really means?  Hmmm ... does it mean that we think they are saying?   Shoot we don't even what what we are saying often.  We would need to be pretty arrogant to think we know what others are thinking.  We don't ask the best QUESTIONS.  
  • 5. People Who Have Advanced Degrees ~ No silly, not 100% of those who have advanced degrees lack humility 100% of the time ... but ... a large percentage of them seem to think because they have greater knowledge in one small area of life ... they have knowledge in "all" areas.  They CARE about the work they have invested but not the work / life that others have invested into.

When we know our life vision we will get FAR more out of any group we are in.  Share this with others in the group.

When we engage and share our questions, challenges, problems, thoughts and insights we give more and get more.

Notes From Others ... 

Do NOT cheat yourself on improving your EQ and "just take these notes from others."  Watch the video and write out your thoughts BEFORE you read what others are thinking.  

  • I'm stupid ... and don't even know it!  We often think others are stupid but fail to see it in ourselves.  Good to apply the mirror principle and see whatever we see in others there is some of that in ourselves.  Until we realize that, probably good to be cautious in sharing with others before we self examine.   
  • People around me are stupid ... ~ Like minded people tend to gather around other people like themselves.   This is not bad in and of itself but if we're just around people who think like we do, we will have this.
  • I never realized ... or even thought that stupid was a "moral" thing!   How crazy, cool and amazing is that?  
  • Hmmm ... maybe ... this is what I have been looking for, for years?!?!  Why does a company / organization start out "good" with a great cause, intention and vision and when it gets large, it seems to become internally focused and then self destruct?
